It’s the vulnerability of others that makes reading on Medium so great. When people set themselves up as flawless, it doesn’t feel authentic and we want to pull that person down to our level. On the other hand, we root for flawed protagonists who have the courage to be real with the audience.

I think I mentioned to you once, but it was your very first post on Medium last year that inspired me to stop my procrastination and fear of writing. I read your post and said “stuff it” and started to share my thoughts. That was 15+ posts ago and I have felt tremendous growth as a writer.

Confession: right before pushing the publish button I re-read my post 100 times and even read it out loud to my wife. But once I push past the nervousness and fear, all that’s left is excitement, adrenaline and satisfaction for overcoming myself and doing what I love.

Keep it up mate!
