Today, in an effort to come up with another creative lockdown activity, I took the kids on an hour-long walk around the neighbourhood to pick up rubbish.
This idea was sparked by yesterday’s spontaneous adventure. In between back-to-back Zoom meetings, there came that moment that many of us know too well:
- I can’t bear any more of my soul being sucked into my 13-inch screen at the dining room table.
- The kids are seriously losing it and need to get outside. I guess it’s my turn.
So I designed the world’s greatest treasure books for a quick boost around the neighbourhood.
And off we went with their halloween bags to collect different coloured crap, along with some other random things my Zoomed-out brain made up on the spot.
